The Chetwyn Rodgers Drirve Development Center (CRDDC) is a non-profit community organization; developing the community, revitalizing urban areas that have been devastated, and addressing the issues for the empowerment of people, naturally and spiritually.
The CRDDC has been blessed to succeed in its efforts to construct, as well as, manage a $3 million facility in 2004. This facility features business offices, a computer learning center, entrepreneurship training, a daycare, business services,energy assistance programs, food programs, as well as a multi-purpose conference area.
The CRDDC strategic plan has successfully served over 90,000 people, groups, and businesses through programs for youth, seniors, deaf and hard of hearing, and families. CRDDC has serviced the community through numerous programs and services such as: daycare, computer access and literacy programs, housing and energy assistance, business strengthening, business services, conferences, social events in computer literacy, entrepreneurship training, and food programs. CRDDC has also impacted the homeless summit, deaf and hard of hearing, as well as, ex-offenders with summits, programs, and activities to improve the quality of life; by offering job training and placement, as well as, introducing technology to the digital divide area.
